About CAP
The Cricket Association of Peoria (CAP) is a not-for-profit organization that was established in the Year 2007 for the purpose of promoting and nurturing the game of cricket in Peoria. 
Vision
CAP envisions the growth of cricket into a mainstream sport that will be enjoyed by people of all ages living in Peoria.
Membership
Membership in CAP is entirely voluntary and open to anyone subscribing to its vision. There is no membership fee. It is not necessary for one to play cricket to be a member.
Anyone wishing to become a member can do so by signing up at [email protected]. All members will automatically receive email notifications of CAP activities.
Management
CAP is managed by the CAP Board comprising two (2) Permanent Members and one (1) Delegate from each cricket team in Peoria. All Board members have equal say in determining CAP’s activities.
CAP’s Responsibilities
- Manage the CAP pitch located in Chartwell Park (off Willow Knolls Road). This will include scheduling its use and taking adequate steps to preserve it in playing condition.
- Organize an annual CAP Cricket League.
- Maintain records and statistics of CAP Cricket League matches
- Maintain a website
- Promote cricket via popular media
